It is with a heavy heart that we share news of the passing of the second "Son" who made up "Richard S. Miller & Sons Insurance" for the better part two decades. Dan passed peacefully, and is no doubt celebrating with his dear wife, Jan, in Heaven. Dan was an avid IU fan, and a loyal member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
We are beyond thankful for the many years of service he gave our agency and for building the foundation on such solid ground!

We received one this morning that we have not received before...and this is one of many reasons we have to ask about trampolines during the underwriting process!
Joking aside, we are thankful no one was hurt by this and that most of the claims we've fielded this morning are not worse given the line of storms' severity.

We're proud that two insurance carriers we represent have already taken this step, Safeco Insurance and West Bend Mutual Insurance Company!
We suspect many others will follow suit shortly. In order to keep our clients up-to-date with this information, we're adding communication related to this on our website in real time.

With the $2.2T stimulus bill that was passed, there are a number of different loan/relief programs available for small businesses. Check out this resource created by the U.S. Small Business Administration for navigating the different options.
We highly recommend consulting a tax professional/banker/business coach if you are considering one of these options.
